1.Consultation & Design Process (Day of Appointment)

Your appointment will begin with a consultation to discuss your desired look, preferences, and any questions you might have. This is a key step in ensuring we meet your expectations.

  • Pre-Drawing: Before we begin, we’ll pre-draw your design, including eyebrow strokes, eyeliner shape, or lip contour, depending on your service. We use a soft pencil to sketch, and you’ll be able to adjust the design until you’re completely happy with it.

  • Approval: Once you’re satisfied with the design, we’ll finalize the details and proceed with the tattooing process. The tattooing won’t begin until you’ve approved everything.

  • Colour will be chosen by you, with suggestions by the artist that best complements your skin tone. We offer a variety of shades for eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. Our expert will guide you to select the perfect match

2. Pre-Appointment Guidelines

To ensure the best results and minimize complications, please avoid the following:

  • Tanning or sun exposure for 48 hours before your appointment.

  • Numbing :Please note, due to TGA regulations, I am unable to provide numbing cream for your appointment. However, you can easily purchase it from your local pharmacy. Apply a generous layer to the treatment area 2 hours before your appointment, and cover it with Glad Wrap to help it absorb properly. This will help ensure maximum comfort during your session!

  • Alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before the procedure.

  • Waxing or tinting eyebrows 48 hours before your appointment.

  • Avoid using Retinol or exfoliating products on the treatment area one week prior to your appointment.

3. Hydration & Skin Care

Hydrate and take good care of your skin in the days leading up to your appointment. Moisturize regularly but avoid heavy creams or oils on the day of your appointment.

Who Can & Can’t Receive Cosmetic Tattooing

Certain individuals may not be suitable candidates for cosmetic tattooing due to medical reasons or specific skin conditions. Here's what you need to know:

Who Can Get Cosmetic Tattooing:

  • Healthy Individuals: If you are generally in good health and have no active skin conditions in the treatment area, you are likely a great candidate.

  • Non-Smokers: Smoking can affect healing time, so it’s best to avoid smoking around the time of your procedure.

  • Those With Sensitive Skin: We can accommodate clients with sensitive skin as long as there’s no active irritation or infection in the treatment area.

Who Should Not Get Cosmetic Tattooing:

  • Pregnant or Breastfeeding: Due to hormonal changes and sensitivities, it is advised that pregnant or breastfeeding individuals refrain from cosmetic tattooing.

  • Active Skin Infections or Irritations: If you have conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or any open sores in the treatment area, it’s best to wait until they’re healed.

  • Diabetic Clients: If you have diabetes, it’s essential to consult with your doctor before proceeding with any cosmetic tattoo treatments.

  • People with Allergies to Pigments: If you have a history of allergic reactions to tattoo pigments or makeup, we may recommend avoiding the treatment.

Important: Please let us know in advance if you are on any medication or have any medical conditions that could affect the healing process.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

  1. Consultation & Pre-Draw: We’ll start with a brief discussion of your desired look, followed by a pre-drawing of the design. You can make changes until you’re completely satisfied.

  2. Tattooing: Once you approve the design and numbness is in place, we begin the tattooing process using a precision tattooing machine.

  3. Duration: The procedure typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the area being treated.

  4. Aftercare Instructions: After the procedure, we’ll provide you with comprehensive aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and results.

Tips to Make the Experience Better

  • Bring Headphones or Music: Relax and distract yourself with music or an audiobook to make the process more enjoyable.

  • Wear Comfortable Clothing: If you're getting tattooed on your face, ensure you're comfortable during the procedure.

  • Come Hydrated: Being hydrated can make the procedure more comfortable, and your skin will be in a better state for healing.

  • Rest the Night Before: Get a good night’s sleep to help you stay relaxed and at ease during the procedure.

Aftercare Guidelines

  • First 24-48 hours: Keep the area clean and dry. Use the healing ointment provided to keep the tattooed area moisturized. Avoid sweating, water, or direct sun exposure.

  • Healing: Expect some swelling, redness, and flaking—this is completely normal. Do not scratch or pick at the area.

  • Sun Protection: After healing, protect the tattooed area with sunscreen to prevent fading.
